You can have sex since, during or after your period. Also in that is the chance of getting pregant at any time during your cycle, so use protection if you're untrained to be a mom!
If you do, use protection.
There is always accidental of getting pregnant after your period, but more so around the 14th daytime after. The best time to have sex is when you are on your time. You have smaller number of a chance of getting pregnant at that time, not to mention how horny you carry around that time (or at least I do). I own been stale bc now for more or less 2-3 months and have not have a period. I am not pregnant, I surmise the bc takes time to draw from our of your system.
