HOW - The instructions come in the box.
WHY - There is no mortified feeling approaching a pad will donate you. You can wear them and still go swimming. They do not expel an odor like pad. You can not tell you are wearing one, (they dont protrude thru your clothes close to pads do)
How long they are within depends on how heavy your flow is.
If you are first starting to wear them try wearing a panty liner too to inaugurate with. Then when you concentration some on the pad you know its time to transfer. and wear the next one for a while shorter time.

why: because they are great for sports especially in the summer while you swim, they also dont perceive like a diper
they can be moved out in for 4-8 hours... basically make sure you get hold of the right absorbency for your flow and change it more or less 4 hours!
They say every 3-5 hours or 8 hours max. I other leave mine surrounded by for the full 8 hours. Anything after that and they say you are at risk of TSS but really you are past the worst leaving them surrounded by for about 10hours but wouldnt recommend making a dependence of it.
